Like I said in one of previous article on this site, luck in casino poker and good hands are not most important – you need to bluff your opponents. I`m not saying that a little bit of luck is bad, but you can win a lot of money with nothing on your hand (trust me, I did it not once). All you need to do is just to play in good way, affecting on your opponents psyche, especially when we play on real money. For example – if you have a pocket pair it is a strong starting hand, but you can not forget that you still can be beat (also preflop). In this case player become passive or aggressive. Passive player will be scared that his pocket pair is too weak and he will fold. Aggressive player will be fight about the pot, but he need to know when stop – by playing too big pots with too weak hands he is not a real poker texas player, because you can play big pots only if you have the strongest hand, for example pocket aces, kings or Ace-King suited. Don`t let the card fooled us – of course ace with queen or jack looks nice, but those are not very strong hands. You should also remember that you are not the only one who can bluff – your opponents also can bluffs, but you can learn how to recognize it.
